Özlem Tekşam

Проф. д-р Özlem Tekşam завершила ординатуру по детским болезням в Университете Хаджеттепе, затем субспециализацию в отделении неонатологии Университета Хаджеттепе и начала работать заведующей педиатрической поликлиникой (ответственной за отделение общей педиатрии и детскую неотложную поликлинику). В 2000 году работала в отделении интенсивной терапии новорождённых Университета Миннесоты, в 2006 году — в отделении детской неотложной помощи больницы «The Hospital for Sick Kids» в Канаде. В 2009 году получила свидетельство о субспециализации по детской неотложной помощи. В 2017 году завершила докторскую программу по фармацевтической токсикологии на фармацевтическом факультете Университета Хаджеттепе. Получив в 2010 году звание доцента, д-р Tekşam с 2015 года работает профессором педиатрии на кафедре детских болезней медицинского факультета Университета Хаджеттепе. Особые области исследований и работы — ожирение, запор, здоровое питание, предупреждение несчастных случаев, триаж, катастрофы, травмы и токсикология. В 2015 году занимала должность заместителя главного врача Детской больницы имени Ихсана Доърамаджи. Кроме того, с 2005 года активно участвует в работе по аккредитации Детской больницы имени Ихсана Доърамаджи. В 2021–2023 годах была сопредседателем Стратегического консультативного комитета Международной педиатрической ассоциации (International Pediatric Association-IPA) по вопросам детей в гуманитарных чрезвычайных ситуациях. В настоящее время является членом правления Турецкой национальной педиатрической ассоциации и президентом Турецкого общества детской неотложной медицины и интенсивной терапии. Кроме того, работает в правлении Европейского общества детской неотложной медицины (EUSEP). Также является редактором раздела детской неотложной помощи журнала «Turkish Journal of Pediatrics».
