وُلدت عام 1986 في كوتاهيا. أتمت تعليمها الابتدائي والمتوسط والثانوي في كوتاهيا. التحقت عام 2004 بكلية الطب بجامعة حاجت تبه بعد أن حصلت على المركز الثاني في تركيا في امتحان القبول الجامعي (ÖSS)، وتخرجت منها عام 2010 بالمرتبة الثانية على القسم. وأتمت بين عامي 2011 و2015 تخصصها في قسم طب الأطفال وأمراضهم بالكلية نفسها. وفي هذه الفترة عملت باحثة زائرة في University College London بدعم من منحة البحث العلمي للجمعية الأوروبية لأمراض الروماتيزم EULAR. وأتمت عام 2020 التخصص الفرعي الذي بدأته في شعبة روماتيزم الأطفال بكلية الطب بجامعة حاجت تبه بعد أن حصلت على المركز الأول في تركيا في امتحان التخصص الفرعي لعام 2016. وأتمت عام 2018 برنامج الماجستير في أمراض الالتهاب الذاتي عند الأطفال بمعهد علوم الصحة بجامعة حاجت تبه.

أجرت أبحاثًا في التهابات المفاصل الالتهابية في مرحلة الطفولة بجامعة آرهوس في الدنمارك بمنحة «2018 FOREUM International Exchange Fellowship». وفي استمرار للمنحة نفسها كانت رائدة في إنشاء وحدة روماتيزم الأطفال في مختبرات الطب الانتقالي بجامعة حاجت تبه. ونالت لقب أستاذ مشارك عام 2021. وعملت بين عامي 2021 و2024 مسؤولة سريرية وإدارية عن شعبة روماتيزم الأطفال في مستشفى أنقرة للتدريب والبحث.

كانت د. ساغ ضمن الفريق المؤلف من 8 أشخاص الذي أسس رابطة EMERGE لأطباء الروماتيزم الشباب تحت مظلة الجمعية الأوروبية لروماتيزم الأطفال (PReS)، وتولت رئاسة لجنة التدريب في EMERGE بين عامي 2016 و2021. وتعمل منذ عام 2021 رئيسة لـ EMERGE. وكانت بين عامي 2022 و2024 الرئيسة المؤسسة لمجموعة أطباء الروماتيزم الشباب لدى الأطفال في تركيا. وإلى جانب ذلك لديها عضويات في عدد من جمعيات الروماتيزم الوطنية والدولية، وفي مقدمتها عضوية مجلس إدارة PReS (الجمعية الأوروبية لروماتيزم الأطفال)، وعضوية مجلس إدارة EULAR PAED (اللجنة الفرعية لروماتيزم الأطفال)، وعضوية المجلس التنفيذي لفريق العمل العالمي للصحة العضلية الهيكلية (The Global Musculoskeletal Health Task Force).
