Ali Bülent Çankaya

Prof. Dr. Ali Bülent Çankaya schloss 1993 die (englischsprachige) Medizinische Fakultät der Universität Hacettepe ab. Die im selben Jahr begonnene Facharztausbildung in der Abteilung für Augenheilkunde der Medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Hacettepe beendete er 1997.

Am Ausbildungs- und Forschungskrankenhaus für Augenheilkunde Ulucanlar arbeitete er insbesondere in der Glaukom- und Kataraktchirurgie. 2012 wurde er Dozent (Assoz. Prof.). 2013 wurde er im selben Krankenhaus auf die Stelle „Lehrbeauftragter“ berufen.

2014 nahm er als Dozent (Assoz. Prof.) seine Tätigkeit in der Abteilung für Augenheilkunde der Medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Hacettepe auf. 2018 erhielt er den Professorentitel.

Seine Hauptinteressen sind Kataraktchirurgie, Glaukom sowie Erkrankungen der Hornhaut und der Netzhaut.
