Leman Akcan Yıldız

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Leman AKCAN YILDIZ graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2008. Completed specialty training in Pediatrics at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine between 2009 and 2014, serving as Chief Resident of Pediatrics in the final year of specialty training. Fulfilled the primary specialty state service obligation at Balıkesir Bigadiç State Hospital. Subsequently received subspecialty training (2015-2020) in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Hacettepe University. Completed the subspecialty state service obligation at Ankara Bilkent City Hospital. Since 2024, has served as a faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics at Hacettepe University. In the same year, obtained the title of Associate Professor from the Council of Higher Education. Special areas of work and interest are poisonings, sepsis, and resuscitation. Member of the Katkı Hacettepe Association for the Development and Support of Pediatric Education and the Turkish Society of Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care. On the editorial board of the “Turkish Journal of Pediatrics.”
