Hayrettin Hakan Aykan

After graduating from medical school in 2005, specialty training was completed in 2010 at the Department of Pediatrics, Hacettepe University, and subspecialty training in 2014 in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology, Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. Became an associate professor in 2017.

Special areas of interest are the diagnosis and treatment of all kinds of congenital and acquired heart diseases, rheumatic heart disease, echocardiography, high cholesterol, relief of narrowings of heart valves and vessels with a balloon (balloon angioplasty), and closure of holes in the heart by a closed (transcatheter) method.
