Emel Isıyel

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emel Isıyel completed specialty training in Pediatrics at Hacettepe University, including service as Chief Resident of Pediatrics in the final year of training, and then fulfilled the primary specialty compulsory service at Ankara Bala State Hospital. Completed subspecialty training in the Division of Pediatric Nephrology at Gazi University between 2011 and 2014, and then completed the subspecialty compulsory service at Kocaeli Derince Training and Research Hospital. In 2018, began working as a faculty member in the General Pediatrics Division of the Department of Pediatrics at Hacettepe University, and obtained the title of Associate Professor in 2024. Also completed the master’s program in Child Neglect and Abuse between 2019 and 2023. Special research and work areas are malnutrition, obesity, neglect and abuse, and enuresis. Currently a member of the Turkish National Pediatric Society.
