Duygu Demirtaş Güner

Graduated in 2010 from the English Program of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. Completed specialty training in Pediatrics and subspecialty training in Pediatric Gastroenterology in the Department of Pediatrics, Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. During subspecialty training, worked for five months as a researcher at the Massachusetts General Hospital Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center, one of the teaching hospitals of Harvard Medical School in Boston, United States. Graduated in 2022 from the Hacettepe University Institute of Health Sciences Immunology Master’s Program with Thesis (MSc). Completed the state service obligation at Van Training and Research Hospital. Subsequently served as a Pediatric Gastroenterology specialist at İzmir Dr. Behçet Uz Children’s Diseases and Surgery Training and Research Hospital. During this time, received training in advanced diagnostic methods in gastrointestinal motility in the Division of Gastroenterology, Ege University Faculty of Medicine.

As of 16 June 2026, serves as a Faculty Member (Assistant Professor) in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Department of Pediatrics, Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine.
