New Year message from our Rector

Dear Hacettepe community,

For Hacettepe University, the year 2017 was completed with very important developments. Without compromising our values and principles, we continued our distinction in producing knowledge, aiming further ahead and at the best, and using what we produce for the development of society.

During the year in which we celebrated the 50th year of our University, of which we are greatly honored to be members and whose identity we always carry with pride, we signed one very important beginning after another. While crowning our achievements by being selected as a "Research University", we further strengthened our power.

Behind our achievements are your accumulated knowledge, labor, effort, support and inexhaustible energy, and those of the entire Hacettepe Family, including those we have lost, our retirees, graduates, students and friends. We are now preparing to welcome a new year full of hope. I believe that with your efforts and support we will have a much more successful 2018.

I congratulate all of you on your valuable work and achievements in 2017, and wish you and your families, together with your loved ones, a healthy, happy, successful and peaceful year in which everything goes as you wish.
